Prior to the first units’ shipping for the Thursday launch, it has been revealed that the Google Store is giving the Pixel Buds Pro an extended 30-day return window.
The Google Store gives users 15 days to return most purchased items as is standard practice for most retailers. Nest thermostats, Verizon contract phones, and Pixel Pass devices have double the window as an exception.
As first spotted on Reddit today, the Google Pixel Buds Pro are the newest addition to the list of products that may be returned within 30 calendar days of users receiving it.
After you start the return process, you’ll have 14 days to complete the return. Your refund will go to the payment method you used, minus any delivery-related costs, no more than 14 days from when your device is received.
This new return policy however, does not include the Pixel Buds A-Series. A month gives users more than sufficient time to test out whether or not the headphones work in their environment. If a buyer finds an issue during the extended period, they may return it instead of having to keep the earbuds only to have to go get warrant or RMA replacements constantly.
In the meantime, this makes the Google Store a better place to buy Buds Pro. For users who have previous experience with the product line causing issues, this seems to be a good solution. They are available in the local Google Stores in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
