Food for Fines

Now through Dec. 31, you can bring non-perishable food items into one of the participating libraries listed below and fines/fees will be waived. All food collected will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Food must be in store-sealed cans, boxes, or plastic containers within its expiration date. No glass containers, perishable food or opened containers.”‹ Participating libraries are San Mateo County Libraries, Daly City Libraries, Redwood City Libraries, San Mateo Public Libraries, and South San Francisco Libraries.

Friends Winter Book Sale

Friday, Dec. 5, 11 a.m -6 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 6, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Sharp Park Library

Support our library by buying books, CDs, DVDs, Books on CDs, and participate in a silent auction. Come early for best selection.

Jewelry Making Workshop

Friday, Dec, 5 at 7 p.m. at Sanchez Library

Learn how to make your own jewelry. Just in time for the holidays! We will be stringing, crimping and doing basic wire work. Space is limited; registration required.

Family Movie Night

Fratello Marionettes

Monday, Dec. 15 at 3:30 p.m. at Sharp Park Library

The Fratello Marionettes will present their holiday show, The North Pole Review! This production showcases the high kicking antics of the Russian Trepak Dancers, the graceful ice skater Crystal Chandelier, and features the dazzling acrobatic penguins.
