To mark the film release of “Wild,” the story of hiker Cheryl Strayed’s solo journey along the Pacific Crest Trail, the editors at AFAR Media have come up with a list of the world’s most beautiful hikes. One is close to home: At San Francisco’s Presidio, artist Andy Goldsworthy’s Wood Line is a balance beam “path” made from the trunks of eucalyptus trees that meanders from Presidio Boulevard and West Pacific Avenue to Liggett Avenue.
