Ducks 3, Bruins 2: Devante Smith-Pelly scored the tiebreaking goal late in the second period, and Matt Beleskey added his 12th goal in Anaheim’s victory over Boston.

Coyotes 5, Oilers 2: Tobias Rieder scored two short-handed goals on the same penalty kill, and Arizona sent Edmonton to its 10th consecutive loss.

Blue Jackets 2, Panthers 1: Boone Jenner scored at 10:05 of the third period to lift Columbus past Florida.

Lightning 6, Rangers 3: Brett Connolly’s second goal of the game, during a third-period power play, helped Tampa Bay defeat New York.

Canadiens 4, Avalanche 3: Max Pacioretty scored the tiebreaking goal late in the third period as Montreal beat Colorado.
