Viano, Timbrell set pace for Alhambra
Michael Viano was the lone representative from the Alhambra High boys team at the California Interscholastic Federation state cross country championships on Nov. 29. Viano finished the 3.1-mile course at Fresno’s Woodward Park in 17 minutes, 35 seconds to take 164th in the boys Division III race. Allie Timbrell raced for the Alhambra girls team and posted an excellent finish, taking 14th overall in the girls Division III race with a time of 18:30.
