High school sports highlight reel: Top performances from last week

Kate Atherton, Mountain View water polo: She scored eight goals over three games as the Spartans won the Santa Teresa Halloween Classic.

Matt Baszucki, Menlo-Atherton water polo: Baszucki scored four goals to help the Bears to a 14-11 upset win in overtime over Menlo School.

Adrian Cervantes, Pioneer football: He carried 11 times for 138 yards and scored the winning touchdown on a 1-yard plunge in the final minute of a 35-28 win over Leland.

Sarah Choy, Sacred Heart Prep tennis: She won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles over defending CCS singles champion Elizabeth Yao of Menlo School.

Kahileigh Creamer, Fremont football: He carried seven times for 179 yards and scored two TDs as the Firebirds defeated Cupertino 43-9 to improve to 8-0 on the season.

Jordan Genato, Terra Nova football: The senior caught nine passes for 236 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-35 win over Menlo School.

Eli Givens, Palo Alto football: He scored three touchdowns — two on pass receptions, one on a kickoff return — in a 55-26 win over Santa Clara.

Owen Lee, Carlmont cross country: The senior won the boys race at the final Peninsula Athletic League meet of the season with a time of 15:46 at Crystal Springs.

Sara Moe, Westmont volleyball: She had a combined 34 kills in wins over Branham and Evergreen Valley.

Tatum Novitzky, Burlingame volleyball: She had 16 kills to lead the Panthers to a 3-1 win over Carlmont.

Sami Oliva, Presentation golf: She made a hole in one on the 153-yard second hole at Spring Valley Golf Course on her way to a 72 at the WCAL finals. Olivia tied for second.

Mason Randall, Sacred Heart Prep football: The junior quarterback completed 13 of 18 passes for 252 yards in a 31-21 victory over Menlo-Atherton. He threw one touchdown pass and ran for another.

Darius Wheeler, Sobrato football: Wheeler rushed for 178 yards on 18 carries and scored three touchdowns in a 33-14 win over San Jose.

Anna Zhou, Gunn golf: Zhou took medalist honors at the SCVAL finals and helped the Titans to the team title.
