Frank Phillip Mutti Oct. 18, 1952 – Nov. 20, 2014

Posted on December 2, 2014

Frank Phillip Mutti passed away Nov. 20. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Mutti, mother Frankie Simmons and brother Kenneth Mutti.

Frank is survived by his six children, Frank Jr., Joseph, Anthony, Angelina, Gina and Juliette and 14 grandchildren, his sisters, Kathleen Wishman, Marilyn Mutti, four nieces, two nephews, seven great nieces, two great nephews, three great-great-nephews and many cousins.

Frank was born in San Francisco on Oct. 18, 1952.He resided in Pacifica most of his life. He enjoyed playing both baseball and basketball until he graduated from Terra Nova High School in 1970. Frank’s dream was to one day be a professional ball player or lead guitarist for a band, but like most of us, ended up getting married, having children and working.

Frank traveled a little with work and enjoyed his time living in Las Vegas and Florida. He also enjoyed running on the beach, listening to music and playing his guitar. He loved his Bay Area sports teams and was so thankful to watch the San Francisco Giants win the World Series.

Frank is most known by his family and friends for his ability to make people laugh, always the comedian, no matter what the circumstances were. His jokes, laughter and love of life will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will remain in all of our cherished memories forever.

Memorial service will be held Dec. 5 at Chapel of the Sea at 1 p.m., followed by celebration of his life at the American Legion Hall, Rockaway Beach at 4 p.m.

Donations can be made to your favorite charity.
