Girls U9

NorCal Region 3/4 Bronze

Alameda SC Islanders ’05 Red 5, Delta United SC Thunder 2: The Islanders won behind crisp passing and excellent teamwork. Goals were scored by Clara Milsten, Kelsey Lamb, Annabella Misa, Reese Griffith and Catie Price. Avery Sims excelled at midfield with multiple assists.

Alameda SC Islanders ’05 Red 2, Benicia Arsenal ’05 SC 2: The Islanders battled to a draw with Benicia, and had goals from Avery Sims and Reese Griffith. The Islander defense was led by their stellar play from goalies Annabella Misa and Amy Screechfield. Alameda SC Islanders ’05 Red capped their Oct. success with a second place finish in the Fremont Kick or Treat Tournament.

Boys U7

Recreational

Team Holland vs Team Portugal: Ronin Moore scored a goal and teammates Jack Rondenet and J.J. Barbey each scored a pair of goals for Holland. Rex Ruport kept the game close with acrobatic saves in the box.

Girls U8

Recreational

Team Brazil vs Team Spain: Team Brazil played a competitive game, and had goals scored by Kathryn Gille. Evelynne Lancaster. Hannah Taylor had several drives down the field and a number of near misses. Ava Beall and Savanna Stollman provided strong defense and goalie play.
