Alan Jones, who won the F1 world championship with Williams in 1980, was presented with a special medal by FIA president Jean Todt yesterday in Melbourne.
The commemorative plaque celebrates Jonesy’s upgrade to legend status as a distinguished member of Australia’s Motor Sport hall of Fame,
An achievement well deserved for the 72-year-old former driver.
