This 2004 Mercedes-Benz SL600 is finished in black over Anthracite Exclusive leather and powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V12 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Features include the AMG Styling Package, a retractable panoramic hardtop, Parktronic, Keyless Go, COMAND infotainment and navigation, bi-xenon headlamps, and climatized multi-contour seats. The car was first registered in California and remained there until it was acquired on BaT in August 2020 by the seller, who then relocated it to Kentucky. Subsequent service included replacement of the power steering pump, two hydraulic hoses, and batteries. This SL600 has 20k miles and is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Kentucky title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Black (040) and is fitted with the AMG Styling Package, which features unique side skirts and bumper covers. Other equipment includes a body-color retractable hardtop with a panoramic glass roof panel, dual exhaust outlets, and xenon headlights with washers. Photos of paint meter readings are viewable in the gallery below, as are cracks in the grille and a dent on the right-rear quarter panel noted by the seller.
Factory 18″ wheels wear 255/40 front and 285/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with Mercedes-branded calipers and cross-drilled rotors up front. The car is fitted with Active Body Control hydraulic suspension. The seller notes the tire-pressure monitoring system is inoperative.
The cabin features climatized multi-contour seats upholstered in Anthracite Exclusive leather with matching door panel inserts and carpets along with burred walnut wood trim on the steering wheel, center console, and doors. Amenities include COMAND infotainment, Bose audio, navigation, Keyless Go, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The multi-function steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,750-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 20k miles, approximately 700 of which were added by the seller.
The twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V12 was factory rated at 493 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Modifications consist of K&N air filters and a Kleeman ECU tune. Servicing in December 2020 included an oil change and replacement of the front and rear batteries, power steering pump, oil level sender, and windshield washer fluid reservoir filler pipe.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Additional photos of the underbody are available in the gallery.
Manufacturer’s literature and partial service records are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California and Kentucky.
