BaT Auction: 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

This 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was purchased new by the seller from Porsche Chandler in Arizona and is finished in Lizard Green over a black interior featuring Lizard Green trim. Options include an extended-range fuel tank, front axle lift, Light Design and Chrono Packages, Bose surround sound, and satin black wheels with Lizard Green accents. A naturally-aspirated 4.0L flat-six drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK transaxle and had a factory-rated output of over 500 horsepower. A service was performed in February 2020, and the odometer now shows just 4,400 miles. This 991.2 GT3 RS is offered with its window sticker, a DME report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

Lizard Green paintwork was a $4,220 option and is contrasted by black vents on the front fenders and black intake scoops on the rear fenders. The RS received a facelift in 2018 that added NACA ducts on the front trunk lid, along with updates to the front fascia, side skirts, and rear wing. Additional weight savings are provided by a magnesium roof, a titanium rear silencer, and lightweight glass for the rear and quarter windows. This example also features SportDesign side mirrors with gloss black lower trim, as well as black LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). A paint-protecting film has been applied to the forward-facing surfaces of the car.

Center-lock wheels measure 20″ in diameter up front and 21″ out back. They are finished in optional satin black with Lizard Green outer lips and wear 265/35 and 325/30 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires showing 2018 date codes. The GT3 RS came standard with rear-axle steering and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus with a variable rear axle differential lock. This example is also optioned with a front axle lift system.

The cabin is upholstered in leather and Alcantara and features a Lizard Green climate control panel, seat inserts, seatbelts, door pulls, and stitching. The full bucket seats feature electric height adjustment and carbon fiber rear covers, while the Light Design Package adds dimmable LEDs to the interior. The door sill guards were optioned in carbon fiber.

Instrumentation includes a central 10k-rpm tachometer flanked by a 225-mph speedometer and a multi-function display, as well as the Chrono Package lap timer and gauges for monitoring oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows approximately 4,400 miles.

The 4.0-liter MA1/76 flat-six produced 520 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque from the factory, and the seven-speed PDK transaxle can be shifted manually via the gear lever or carbon fiber paddles mounted behind the steering wheel. A one-year service was performed in February 2020 and included an oil change. A DME report from March 2020 can be seen in the gallery and shows no ignitions in any of the overspeed ranges.

The window sticker shows initial delivery to Porsche Chandler and a total price of $210,260, including approximately $20k in options.

The April 2020 Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage and shows history with a single owner in Arizona since new.
