This 1993 Toyota pickup was sold new at Joe MacPherson Toyota in Orange County, California and was exported by a US service member to Okinawa, Japan, shortly thereafter according to the seller. The truck is said to have been imported to Canada approximately 10 years ago, where it has been driven approximately 10k of its 53k indicated miles by three subsequent owners. Finished in black over gray cloth, it is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. This Toyota is offered with a clean Carfax report and Alberta registration in the seller’s name.
The extended cab and bed are finished in black paint protected with 3M film, and the truck is equipped with body-colored wheel arch moldings. The pickup box is said to have been repainted when the truck was exported to Canada, and wear in the cargo area is shown in the gallery below.
The truck was lifted and fitted with two-piece aluminum SSR 15″ wheels while still in Japan according to the seller, while the 33″ Hankook Dynapro M/T tires show 2011 and 2012 date codes. The tires are said to rub against the front valance at full steering lock.
The cab features gray cloth-upholstered front bucket seats with adjustable headrests and rear jump seats, as well as matching door panel trim and carpets protected by floor mats. Equipment includes power windows and locks, a pop-up glass sunroof, and an Axxera stereo with Bluetooth.
A three-spoke steering wheel with cruise control switches frames an instrument cluster including a six-digit mechanical odometer that reads approximately 53k miles. Corrosion in the bottoms of the doors and a crack in the sunroof are illustrated in the gallery.
The 3.0-liter V6 was factory rated at 150 horsepower when new. The seller performed an oil and filter change in February 2019. A four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed part-time transfer case route power to the rear or all four wheels.
Additional underbody photos detail the condition of the suspension and frame in the gallery.
The October 2019 Carfax report contains limited entries and shows no history of accidents or other damage. A walk-around and cold-start video is shown below.
