This 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is finished in Guards Red over tan leather and was recently acquired by the selling dealer after 20 years with its previous owner. Power is from a 3.6-liter flat-six driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, while modifications include H&R lowering springs, RS-spec camshaft timing, and Mille Miglia 17″ Cup 1 wheels. An engine-out service was conducted at 85k miles, while more recent service included replacing oil lines and a return tube as well as an alignment, belts, corner balancing, and oil change in 2019. This 964 shows 136k miles and is offered in California with results from a September 2019 PPI and leakdown test, an owner’s manual, a partially-stamped service booklet, a Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title.
The car is finished in Guards Red, and several panels are said to have been refinished to alleviate scratches and road rash. The Carfax report notes “minor damage” incurred in a June 2016 accident.

Mille Miglia 17″ Cup 1 wheels wear new BFGoodrich g-Force Sport tires. Work commissioned by the selling dealer included installation of H&R springs as well as a four-wheel alignment and corner balancing.
The cabin is trimmed in tan leather with a black dashboard and features an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and an aftermarket cassette player replacing the stock Blaupunkt stereo. Cracks on the dashboard are photographed close up in the gallery.
The mechanical odometer shows just under 136k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the selling dealer. The car is also equipped with a sunroof and cruise control.
The 3.6-liter M64 flat-six is said to have been rebuilt by Deal Motorcars in Asheville, North Carolina at 85k miles and included machining the cylinder head and a multi-angle valve job, resealing the case, as well as installing piston rings and adjusting the cam timing to RS-specs. Maintenance conducted by Sleepers Speed Shop of Costa Mesa, California in preparation for the sale included changing the engine oil as well as replacing the oil lines, a return tube, and belts. Power is routed to all four wheels through a five-speed G50 manual transaxle, and the clutch was replaced during the 85k-mile service according to the selling dealer.
The October 2019 Carfax report shows the aforementioned June 2016 accident as well as history in New York, North Carolina, and Colorado through September 2018. The video below shows a cold start and a walk-around with the engine running.
