This 1987 Honda Elite 250 was purchased new from Everett Honda outside of Seattle, Washington and reportedly used for transportation around the original owner’s golf course neighborhood until it was acquired by the seller in December 2018 with 247 miles shown. The seller has since replaced the battery, tires, brake shoes, fluids, and filters as well as performing cosmetic backdates and more. This Elite shows just 286 miles and is offered with manuals, tools, a period license plate frame, and a Washington State title in the seller’s name.
The seller refinished the stock 1987 grey running boards, inner front fender, and other plastics to duplicate the black scheme of the 1986 model as well as sourcing a 1985-86 luggage rack with rubber guards and having it rechromed. The condition of the paintwork, gold pinstripes, warning stickers, and trim is shown up close in the gallery below.
This auction is a re-list of the same Honda Elite 250 that concluded on our site as Lot 18228 earlier today. A technical glitch affected the end of that auction, so in the interest of fairness to the seller and all bidders who wished to bid, we have decided to re-open the listing for a 24-hour period. BaT has refunded the high bidder for the fee that was charged at the conclusion of the previous listing. We apologize for the additional complexity and know this is the best resolution in fairness to all involved.
The seller states that he replaced the original tires with new Bridgestones, and new shoes were installed for the front and rear drum brakes. The rear brake starter interlock was also bypassed, with the seller noting that the modification is reversible. The steering head bearings and control cables have been greased.
The mechanical odometer shows 286 miles, and the seller reports that he purchased it with 247 miles. The speedometer cable has been lubricated and a new clock battery and instrument cluster bulbs have been installed.
The liquid-cooled 250cc single is paired with a constant velocity transmission and was serviced in early 2019 with fluid and filter changes as well as a new battery, water pump seals, and exhaust donut gasket. The seller notes an incorrect clamp on the hose to the water pump.

An owner’s manual, tool kit, and period Everett Honda license plate frame are included in the sale. The four keys that come with the bike all operate the ignition, glovebox and seat release. The original key from when the bike was new is included although it no longer operates anything on the bike.
