BaT Auction: 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible L71 427/435 4-Speed

This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was assembled on February 9, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri, and it is powered by a numbers-matching 427ci L71 Tri-Power V8 mated to an M21 four-speed manual transmission. Finished in Rally Red with a black hood stripe and a black soft top over a black leather interior, this example is reportedly equipped with a 3.73:1 Posi-traction rear end, Western lug-mounted wheels, the J56 brake package, and side-exit exhaust pipes. This C2 Corvette was purchased by the current owner approximately two years ago and is now offered by the seller on behalf of a family member with transferable New York registration in the owner’s name.

The seller notes that the car was refurbished approximately 10 years ago, and the exterior is finished in Rally Red (974) with a black stripe over the hood bulge and scoop. 15″ Western turbine-style wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Silvertown redline tires, and the car was reportedly factory equipped with the J56 heavy-duty brake package with disc brakes fitted at all four corners.

Bucket seats are upholstered in black leather (402) with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. This example features a heater delete and a blanking panel in place of the Delco AM/FM radio.
