BaT Auction: 16×7″ and 16×8″ BBS RS Wheels for Porsche at No Reserve

These 16″ BBS RS012 and RS013 wheels measure 7″ and 8″ wide respectively and were produced in Germany for use on Porsche cars using 5x130mm bolt patterns. Each wheel features three-piece construction with gold-finished aluminum centers bolted to painted inner and outer barrels and polished outer lips. Each wheel is stamped with dimensions, serial numbers, production dates, and offsets, and all four were refinished in July 2020. This set of BBS wheels was recently acquired by the seller and is now offered at no reserve in New York with matching center caps and a removal wrench.

RS012 and RS013 wheels were produced by BBS in Germany during the 1980s for use on contemporary Porsche models. Three-piece construction consists of rolled inner and outer rim halves which are joined together when bolted to forged aluminum mesh centers. This set features gold-painted faces, inner and outer barrels, and polished outer lips.

The two 16×7″ RS012 wheels feature an ET 23 offset and are stamped with serial numbers as well as BBS forging marks and 1986 date codes.

The 16×8″ RS013 wheels have an ET 11 offset and are stamped with serial numbers 110056 and 110065.  BBS forging marks and 1986 date codes are present. All four wheels use a 5x130mm bolt pattern and were refinished in July 2020. A photo of the refinish receipt is provided in the gallery.

Four BBS center caps and a BBS Design wrench for removing them are also included in the sale.
